Before 2020 | The seed: two paths aiming to grow

BUMATECH specializes in bulk material handling equipment and processing plants combining top-tier manufacturers with our application expertise to design and optimize our clients’ operations.

We prioritize technology, engineering and reliability as key drivers for partnering with industry-leading manufacturers known for their innovation and reliability.

We don’t just represent brands, we select what’s optimal for each client, adapt it to their operation, and support them through every phase from engineering to after-sales service.

2020 | First encounters: the spark ignites

During a period of growth in the Southeastern U.S., the paths of Miguel, Heriberto, and Alejandro intersect. They realize their businesses don’t compete, they complement one another: one brings deep operational and local market expertise, while the others contribute a global network and a strategic vision for integration.

An informal collaboration begins. The synergy is immediate. Ideas start to flow.

2021 – 2023 | Challenges, learning, and opportunities

The collaboration faces real market challenges: strained supply chains, competition from century-old companies, and tough barriers to entry. But one thing becomes clear, major players aren’t truly serving their clients. They sell products, not solutions. They’re distant, slow, and unresponsive.

This period marks a turning point: the conviction emerges that a new brand is needed, not to compete in volume, but in intelligence, agility, and proximity.

2024 | The launch of BUMATECH

The team takes the leap and formalizes the alliance: BUMATECH (Bulk, Materials & Technology) is born. Not just another distributor, but a strategic integrator with technical expertise, a consultative mindset, and a global network.

The company is founded on three core pillars:
